We all start from scratch. Knowing nothing about anything. Let's see, power switch, oh, yeah, plug it in, then turn on the power. Hey, that looks like DOS! This thing is suppose to have Windows on it. Wait a minute, the screen is changing. Ooh, pretty colors! Look, there is stuff on the, uh, uh, Desktop. Let's see, what do I do now? Oh, look how the mouse pointer moves around the screen. What happens when I click the buttons on the mouse? Nothing. How about the right mouse button? Yikes, a popup menu. I'm not ready for that quite yet. What is that Start button for? Oh, look. There are choices on this popup menu, too. Now how do I run a program? I wonder what that Help menu is? I sure wish they would send books with this stuff.
Enter Moron Windows. We'll try to run through the basics for you and maybe help to conquer the mystery of Windows. Most of the information will target Win98 although a lot of it will also apply to Win95.
