Gus is becoming a wonderful dog! He plays well with the kids and protects them with a deep "woof" when Mom or Dad threaten to swat their little behinds. He has learned to sit; he doesn't jump up on everyone and he has quit chewing up things and digging holes. He fetches the newspaper without slobbering all over it or ripping it to shreds. He lies calmly on the floor at our feet. Ringgg. Ringgg. "Oh, there's the alarm, time to wake up."
