T-Ball Practice
April 26, 1998

The kids were practicing with their T-Ball stand. The stand has a soft ball attached to it with an elastic cord. The idea is to whack the ball with the bat and the ball returns to you. This usually saves on the expense of replacing broken windows.

Taylor was standing too close to the stand while playing the pitcher. Dad kept saying, "You know, you don't really need to stand out there. The ball is going to come back to Brooklyn." Seven year olds know better than to listen to their Dad.

Brooklyn connected with a line drive straight up the middle and caught Taylor in the mouth. Extract one loose baby tooth! Taylor didn't cry, but, she had a great surprised expression on her face. Should have had the video camera going.
